Gjoll returns to Fallen Metropolis with the second album on the label and his second opus of great alchemical work - "Nigredo". In "Nigredo" - the black opus - the sounds are created by using DIY hardware and software for filtering and stretching.
The sound is put into a state of decay which affect its density, tune and perspective. The album starts from a raw beat-less base to arrive to more dancefloor-oriented rhythms, deconstructed by a series of compressions and saturation reminiscent of the intense activity of the alchemical furnace.
