about

Japanese musician Yasuyuki Uesugi joins the Fallen Metropolis with a 42 minute brutal piece of harsh noise.

Uesugi's productions are deeply experimental noise tracks that reflect ideas of the spiritual world, mental illness and the human brain.

"I use synthesizers to create noise music that expresses my distorted spiritual world. I have autism spectrum disorders, so I express it in the form of noise."

Yasuyuki started being interested in noise music when he met the mind behind JMT SYNTH, a Japanese handmade synthesizer maker.
"I became fascinated by operating the analogue synthesizer and freely searching for noise sounds, which became part of my music style today."

In times where our minds are stressed and damaged, Yasuyuki Uesugui’s productions can be a cathartic noise exorcism.

The original recording was then used as a source for different interpretations by Fallen Metropolis artists and those resulted in a selection of remixes released on B side of this tape.
